Answers to Common Questions

  • Our single lessons range from $55 - $85 depending on type of lesson you select. We also offer our lessons in packages, that range from $250 - $700 per package. We always recommend getting a package, especially if you are a beginner or would like to learn vocal technique. For more information about packages, please visit our pricing and registration page.

  • Depending on your goals, you may choose to renew your package and take it over and over until your goals are met.

  • We offer private, semi-private and small group lessons. These choices, as well as duration of the lessons are determined by age and current skill level of the student. For more information, please see our booking page.

  • Our instructors are educated and experienced musicians and vocalists with over 25 years of singing experience and over 10 years teaching experience.

  • Please visit our booking page, check availability first for your selected type of lesson and then proceed with booking. If you are booking a package, please follow instructions on the booking page.

  • At our school, we usually start at the age of 5 (five). However, if your child is 4.5 or closer to 5 years old, we can have them come to a vocal assessment and determine if our programs would be suitable for them right now or it’s better to wait. To book your assessment, kindly do so through our booking page.

  • It’s never too late to start learning a new skill. You do need to make a bit of a commitment though, to come in to your weekly sessions and to practice.

  • Certainly! Vocal Training will help your vocal chords stretch to allow you to sing higher pitches.

  • Unless you have a medical problem with hearing, which is diagnosed by a doctor, you are most likely not “tone deaf” so to speak. Most likely you are just lacking proper vocal technique and training. Anyone can improve their singing voice with exercises and practice. Please come in for your assessment and we will be able to tell you more.

  • I bet you CAN sing and you can sing nicely! Please come in for an assessment and we will see what your current singing skills are.

  • Certainly. Please book a private package as we will need some time to prepare. Please bring all the paperwork to your first session.

  • Sure. Please keep in mind, though, that we can only do so much in a short period of time. Please go to our booking page and register for a single lesson.

  • It depends. Some people will not benefit from online lessons, it’s true. It has to do with being able to sing proper notes (have good ear for pitches) The reason is, that there is a bit of a delay in sound so the teacher cannot sing along with the student to guide correct pitches. However, it works perfectly fine with anyone who can hear and sing proper notes. It’s also beneficial if you are too far away from our physical location (ie. not in Canada)

  • We offer opportunities for performances at our Recitals/ Small Concerts, usually once or twice a year for our younger students (up to the age of 14). If there is an event happening around the city, we can also connect you. Please mention this to us at your assessment or first lesson.

  • Yes. A big part of training is articulation/diction work. Your accent will diminish and your speech will improve (become more clear).

  • Yes, we can do this. We can talk more about it at your consultation.
